From 12 February through 31 March 2009, Stampin’ Up! will donate 50 percent of the retail value of all sales from a select group of 10 stamp sets to the Australian Red Cross Victorian Bushfires 2009 Appeal.

My team’s new blog

We have started a team blog, for my wonderful Southern Belles.

Each week, a couple of team members pick three cards from our Yahoo group photo section and they get put on the blog with their commentary. I thought it would be fun for team members to comment on other team member’s cards. Each week I set the team a challenge, and the girls upload cards to our photo section. They are also free to upload other cards into their own folder too. The work is really amazing which is why i had to share.

Weekly Challenge Card- EMBOSSING

Such a simple card, in pale plum and perfect plum. Proof that you don’t always need fancy bells and whistles to create a lovely, sophisticated card. Change the colour scheme and its masculine or Christmas too. Thanks Melissa Cutts for the GREAT idea!

Christmas Decorations

Every year I promise myself that I will make decorations and this year I am actually doing it.

I am using all the Christmas goodies in the new mini catalogue, new on board accents, silver hodgepodge, new papers etc. Hope you like the result. For anyone going to the SA Stamping Fair on August 24, you can see them hanging on our Christmas tree at our stand.
